Eco-Charlie Natural Slug and Snail Deterrent is made from 100% recycled material. The deterrent is made from a sharp 'grit' and creates an effective and long lasting physical barrier between your plants and marauding slugs and snails. A long lasting and cost effective way to protect your plants, Apply using these methods:  To protect individual plants place a ring of granules around the plant, approximately 2-6cm deep and approximately 15-20cm wide. Apply right up to the stem of the plant,- For pot use cover pot surface in a 1-3cm deep cover of granules. It also helps if you place a layer in the bottom of the pot before planting,
- For general slug/snail and pet deterrent place a ring approximately 5cm deep by 10cm wide around a group of plants or flower bed,
- To use as a soil conditioner mix approximately a handful into around 10kg of Soil,
- Add a bag to a compost heap or compost bin and mix in roughly to help speed up biodegrading effect through increased aeration.
